Welcome to our state-of-the-art outpatient facility. Health Smart Medical Center was established in 2001 by Leonid Magidenko, M.D. Leonid Magidenko, M.D.

began his medical career upon graduation from Sankt-Petersburg Medical School in his native Russia. After receiving his degree, he focused his post graduate training in the area of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Soon Dr. Magidenko would relocate to the United States where he successfully passed all the appropriate professional examinations and continued his postgraduate education in the field of Internal Medicine. Upon graduation, he became certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. While continuing to expand his education, Dr. Magidenko attended multiple professional conferences and training seminars in various areas of medicine including internal medicine, nutrition, anti-aging, disease prevention, and chelation therapy. Throughout the years Dr. Magidenko developed particular interest and extensive experience in the fields of integrative medicine for chronic age related conditions and anti-aging therapy. Dr. Magidenko has also established a strong reputation in medical areas such as female health, osteoporosis, hormonal imbalances, the control and regulation of endocrine disorders such as diabetes, thyroid dysfunction, “adrenal fatigue” as well as prevention of cardio-vascular conditions. Throughout his career, Dr. Magidenko became an active participant in the medical community and is currently a member of renowned organizations such as the American Medical Association, The American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, Life Extension Foundation and the National Osteoporosis Foundation. In addition to becoming an expert in various scopes of practice, Dr. Magidenko was also appointed as a Clinical Assistant Professor by prestigious universities such as the University of Miami, Nova University and Barry University. In 2001, Dr. Magidenko founded and became the Medical Director of Health Smart Medical Center in Huntingdon Valley, PA. After establishing Health Smart as a reputable center for exceptional medical care, he moved the office in 2009 to a larger facility in the growing city of Philadelphia.
