Congratulations to Kerrianne Wilson, RN, recipient of the DAISY Award at Jefferson Torresdale Hospital. Kerrianne is being recognized for the compassionate, attentive care she provided during a patient’s unexpected surgery just weeks postpartum.

From emotional support to pain management and mobility assistance, Kerrianne consistently checked in and ensured her patient felt supported during a vulnerable time. Her dedication, adaptability and attention to detail reflect the meaningful impact new nurses can make. Thank you, Kerrianne, for the care and empathy you bring to every shift.

Last month, Dr. Devon Fromer and Dr. Jaclyn Milici performed the first entirely percutaneous lower extremity bypass at Jefferson Abington Hospital.

This minimally invasive approach uses small needle openings, rather than open surgery, to reroute blood around a blocked artery in the lower extremity. For patients, that can mean smaller incisions, faster recovery and a quicker return to daily life.

Congratulations to the team at Jefferson Abington Hospital for advancing what’s possible for our patients and community.

Jefferson Health and Hatfield Ice are starting an exciting new chapter together. 🏒

Now known as Jefferson Health Arenas at Hatfield Ice, the iconic rink in Colmar, PA continues to be a go-to spot for hockey, skating, figure skating and birthday parties. The space now also includes added health screenings, wellness education and community programming from Jefferson Health.
