Jefferson Health and Hatfield Ice are starting an exciting new chapter together. 🏒

Now known as Jefferson Health Arenas at Hatfield Ice, the iconic rink in Colmar, PA continues to be a go-to spot for hockey, skating, figure skating and birthday parties. The space now also includes added health screenings, wellness education and community programming from Jefferson Health.

However, due to inclement weather, some outpatient and urgent care sites are operating on a modified schedule on Sunday, 1/25, and Monday, 1/26. Celebrating 25 years, Safe Harbor at Jefferson Abington Hospital has been a compassionate space for families navigating the loss of a loved one since opening its doors in 2001. Over the years, the program has grown to support children, teens, young adults and caregivers through grief support groups designed to foster comfort, connection, and understanding.

Remaining true to its original mission, Safe Harbor continues to walk alongside families during some of life’s most difficult moments, offering a place where no one has to grieve alone.

A proud moment for the Structural Heart team at Jefferson Abington Hospital as they complete their first transcatheter edge-to-edge repair (TEER) procedure, marking an exciting step forward in care for our community.

Transcatheter edge-to-edge repair (TEER) is a minimally invasive procedure used to treat a leaking mitral valve in people who may not be candidates for open-heart surgery. By helping the valve close more effectively, the procedure can ease symptoms and support better day-to-day living.

👶 A New Year to remember at Jefferson Abington Hospital!

Lindsay and Matthew Logan of Chalfont welcomed their baby boy, Dawson Logan, at 1:01 a.m., ringing in 2026 with joy and celebration. Born at Jefferson Abington Hospital, Dawson weighed 6 lbs. 13 oz. and measured 19.5 inches long—a wonderful New Year’s beginning for this growing family. ✨💙

For the ninth year in a row, Kori Robino organized a Christmas Eve gift giveaway for families spending the holidays in Jefferson Abington Hospital's Special Care Nursery (NICU). Robino first organized the giveaway in honor of her daughter Colette, a former NICU patient. Grateful for the care they received, Robino and her daughter continue to pay it forward with the now annual holiday tradition. NICU families were surprised with gift bags full of preemie-sized clothing, baby care essentials and self-care items for families. The special holiday surprise was also made possible thanks to Today is a Good Day, a local non-profit that supports NICU families.
