Coach Leah here! Quick question, do you struggle with boundaries?

Do you find yourself saying yes when you really want to say no? Taking on things you don’t have the time, energy, or capacity for?

Freezing when someone pushes you instead of saying what’s on your heart? If so, you’re not alone. For a long time, boundaries were hard for me too, not because I didn’t know better, but because my nervous system didn’t feel safe pushing back.

Many of us who struggle with boundaries have a history of chronic stress or early experiences that taught us approval equals safety. When that happens, people-pleasing becomes automatic—not conscious.

This book by Terry Cole helped me understand where that pattern came from, without shame or blame. More importantly, it helped me slow down enough to feel what was happening in my body, so I could soothe it and respond instead of react.

For those of us navigating Adrenal Fatigue, boundaries aren’t just emotional, they’re physiological.

Every overextension is another withdrawal from an already depleted system. Learning to protect your energy is part of nervous system care.

If this resonates and you’re navigating ongoing symptoms related to chronic stress or Adrenal Fatigue, structured clinical care is available.

You can learn more about Dr. Neville’s treatment programs or speak with our team about whether care may be appropriate for your situation.

Most people don’t need endless care.

They need the right level of care, at the right time — guided by real medical information.

The Foundations Program is an eight-week clinical program designed for people experiencing unresolved symptoms who want clearer answers, appropriate testing, and physician-led direction before committing to longer-term care.

This program is intentionally structured.

Care begins with evaluation by Dr. Andrew Neville, followed by early testing and treatment decisions guided by real physiological data.

Rather than guessing or trying scattered approaches, the goal is to create a clear clinical picture and determine the most appropriate next steps.

Care unfolds within a defined period so physiological responses can be observed and recommendations adjusted appropriately.

Some people experience meaningful stabilization within this focused window.

Others use the program to determine whether longer-term care would be helpful.

Both outcomes are appropriate.

💡 Key takeaway:
Clear clinical information helps determine the right level of care — instead of guessing what to do next.

If you're considering structured clinical guidance, you can learn more about the program or speak with our team.

Many people with Adrenal Fatigue notice something confusing.

At certain times, they feel wired or anxious, and at other times, they feel completely depleted even when nothing obvious is happening.

One way to understand this pattern is through a seesaw analogy.

Your physiology is constantly balancing between stress physiology and repair physiology.

Stress physiology supports things like alertness and blood sugar stability.

Repair physiology supports digestion, immune function, hormone regulation, and tissue repair.

Both systems draw from the same energy supply.

In a well-regulated system, that seesaw shifts back and forth throughout the day.

The body moves into stress when needed, and then naturally returns toward repair.

But with repeated or prolonged stress, the balance point can begin to drift.

The system may spend more time on the stress side of the seesaw, and it can take longer to move back toward repair.

Repair still happens, just more slowly and less efficiently, which is when symptoms often begin to accumulate.

If this pattern sounds familiar, you're not imagining it.

Many people living with Adrenal Fatigue feel this exact wired-but-tired rhythm throughout the day.

💡 Key takeaway: When stress physiology dominates for too long, the body has fewer opportunities to shift into the repair state it needs.

Healing follows the natural order of physiology. Each system—the nervous, endocrine, immune, and digestive—recovers according to its own capacity and readiness.

Stress or chronic strain in one system slows recovery in others. True restoration occurs when each system is supported in the sequence the body requires, allowing full integration and long-term repair.

Attempts to force rapid healing disrupt this process and risk further dysfunction.

If these patterns sound familiar, it may be a signal that the stress response system needs deeper support.

For individuals seeking medical guidance for Adrenal Fatigue, our programs provide structured care, coaching support, and a clear treatment framework designed to restore stress physiology safely.

Tea has always been one of my favorite ways to slow things down.

Not because it’s trendy — but because the ritual itself
matters.

Boiling the water.
Letting it steep.
Waiting.

That pause sends a powerful signal of safety to the
nervous system, especially in the middle of busy or
demanding days.

Certain teas can also be gently supportive when stress
load is high. The goal isn’t stimulation or pushing
energy — it’s encouraging calm.

🍃 Green tea is one I often enjoy because it contains naturally occurring compounds that many people
experience as grounding. That said, it does contain a small amount of caffeine, which may not feel supportive for more sensitive systems.

🌼 When caffeine isn’t a good fit, chamomile is often a better choice. It’s traditionally considered a nervine — meaning it’s used to help settle an overactive nervous system. Letting it steep longer, or using more than one tea bag, can deepen that calming effect.

🌿 CBD herbal teas are another option some people explore when thoughtfully sourced. These blends are intended to support nervous system calm without stimulation.

This isn’t about forcing relaxation.

It’s about creating repeated moments where the body
can settle.

Small rituals like this can support the nervous system — but when the stress response system has been dysregulated for a long time, deeper support is often needed.

💡 Bottom line: Gentle rituals, like making and drinking tea, help the nervous system shift out of stress mode.

If this pattern feels familiar, our Adrenal Fatigue Treatment programs are designed to address the stress
response system as a whole.

Do you find yourself crying more easily than usual?

It’s not weakness — it’s stress physiology at work.

When your internal capacity is low, emotions reach the surface faster. Tears are often part of the body’s natural release process, helping reduce internal load and prevent overwhelm.

Low buffering capacity doesn’t mean you’re “too sensitive.”
It often means the stress response system has been under prolonged strain.

When the nervous system is stuck in survival mode, emotional regulation becomes harder. As the body gradually shifts back toward rest and safety, emotional responses often become steadier again — without suppression or shame.

Many people experiencing Adrenal Fatigue notice this exact pattern.

Understanding the physiology behind it can be the first step toward stabilizing the stress response system.

If this experience feels familiar, guided support may be helpful.

What’s the most common trigger that makes your symptoms worse?

03/09/2026
03/09/2026

Start your day by feeding your adrenal-supporting energy, not spiking your blood sugar. Here are the 3 best breakfast foods for balanced energy if you have Adrenal Fatigue:

🥚 Eggs – Nature’s perfect little food. Protein + fat to stabilize blood sugar. Hard boil for grab-and-go convenience, or scramble/fry daily.

🥩 Animal meat – Protein to heal, fat to fuel hormone production. Bacon, sausage, or even a morning hamburger — quality matters, but don’t stress about perfection.

🐟 Sardines – Tiny but mighty. Packed with protein, fat, and omega-3s for energy and cellular support. Breakfast doesn’t have to be “breakfast food” — any nutrient-dense meal works.

Why it matters:

Balanced blood sugar = more stable energy + less crash throughout your day. Which of these foods could you start including in your morning routine this week?

If these kinds of energy crashes feel familiar, it may be a sign your stress response system needs deeper support.

Calm doesn’t always feel good right away when your nervous system has learned that stress equals safety.

For a body that has lived in long-term alert mode, slowing down can feel unfamiliar — sometimes even uncomfortable — before it ever feels relieving.

That reaction doesn’t mean something is wrong.

It often reflects how the nervous system has adapted to chronic stress.

When the body spends long periods in fight-or-flight physiology, the system becomes accustomed to that level of activation. Slowing down can initially feel strange because the body is learning a different state.

Over time, with repetition and predictability, the nervous system can begin to recognize safety again.

Calm isn’t forced.

It’s learned gradually as the body experiences enough stability for repair physiology to remain active.

For individuals experiencing Adrenal Fatigue, this shift from constant alertness toward regulation is an important part of supporting the stress response system.

💬 Have you noticed that slowing down sometimes feels uncomfortable instead of peaceful?

If symptoms have persisted for months or years, direct treatment can make a measurable difference.

🚦 Traffic Jam Check-In with Coach Leah

Coach Leah here 👋

Traffic jams used to trigger an immediate stress response for me — tension building, patience disappearing, and that feeling of being completely stuck.

Now I look at these moments differently.

Situations like traffic are small opportunities to communicate safety to the nervous system.

When we intentionally shift our response, we help prevent the stress response from fully activating.

Sometimes that means:

🌿slowing down my breathing
🌿 noticing something I’m grateful for
🌿 turning on a favorite song
🌿 calling someone who makes me laugh

Even though the situation hasn’t changed, these small choices send signals that help the autonomic nervous system stay regulated.

When the body perceives safety, repair physiology can remain active instead of shifting into fight-or-flight stress chemistry.

For people recovering from Adrenal Fatigue, these small daily moments of regulation can matter more than most people realize.

💬 How do you stay calm during unexpected stress like traffic?

🌿If you’re considering next steps, you can review our care programs and book a conversation with our team.

Clymer Healing Center Reviews

Just one of many Clymer Healing Center Reviews for Adrenal Fatigue Treatment: “I was caught off guard. I was a fully functioning medical sales rep in California and San Francisco – I enjoyed it tremendously, and then I got pregnant with my first child. All of a sudden, I was exhausted, all the time. I felt like I was hung-over on a daily basis. My ability to think clearly just disappeared; my clear thinking wasn’t there anymore. I couldn’t be who I was before, and I was at a total loss about what was going on. Of course, we turned to the OBGYN. They wrote it off: “You have a child, and of course you’re tired.” Then I got pregnant with my second child, and the symptoms seemed to escalate.

I remember one particular day, I was in the grocery store with my two children. I was trying to remember what I came there for, what I needed to get. I was staring at the shelves. I felt like I was going crazy. I honestly will never forget that day. You don’t know how you’re going to function or get through the next day … and then the next day, and then the next day.

I spent five years on five or six different antidepressants, because they didn’t work, because I wasn’t depressed. I was tired and couldn’t think clearly. After five years of being on the antidepressants, I gained 20 to 30 pounds and had fluctuation of weight that I’ve never dealt with my whole life. Searching for an answer, I did some research online and started coming up with something I never even heard of before, which was Adrenal Fatigue. I met a few of the markers, and it made perfect sense to me. I came across Dr. Neville’s name and that he dealt specifically with Adrenal Fatigue. I reached out.

In my first conversation with Dr. Neville, it was such a relief to be heard and validated – finally – about what I was experiencing, what I was feeling. One of the key reasons I felt this way was because Dr. Neville had experienced it himself. So knowing that he had gone through it, he could speak directly to me what it felt like. That was so reassuring, after spending years not knowing and not being able to have a two-way conversation with someone.
