In partnership with National Medical Fellowships, Inc., we're providing more than $1 million in annual financial support to medical students with demonstrated need through two programs.

🔷 NBME Fee Assistance Program for the United States Medical Licensing Examination® (USMLE®) opens its first 2026 application cycle from March 31-May 10, 2026. More than 1,400 students will receive awards of $695 for the registration cost of the USMLE Step 1 or Step 2 CK exam.

🔷 NBME/NMF Scholarship Program will accept applications from April 6-May 17, 2026. This program provides 20 second-year medical students with $10,000 scholarships per year, renewable up to three years.

📢 The USMLE® program is transitioning to an updated test delivery software for the Step exams.

The exam content, total number of items, and overall length of the tests are unchanged.

✔️ As of March 10, 2026, the new testing software is now in place for Step 3 exams.

✔️ The new testing software will launch for Step 2 CK exams on May 7, 2026.

✔️ The new testing software will launch for Step 1 exams on May 14, 2026.
