6 MONTHS STRONG WITH THIS AMAZING TEAM OF WOMEN!
I’ve taught group classes many places and had the best time ever, but I’ve never felt so fulfilled as a personal trainer before coming to 🙌
Working in an environment created for women, ran by women and owned by a woman is AWESOME! Getting to help women every day achieve what they thought they couldn’t or haven’t been able to do for a while feels great! (I still have love for training men…it’s just not the same)
I have learned so much more about the female body and how it works in relation to exercise and nutrition as well as I’ve gotten to train some of the most dedicated and determined women I’ve ever met! 💯
I’m looking forward to the next 6 months with these powerhouse babes!!! 😆

❤️🩹 HAPPY FEEL GOOD FRIDAY!! ❤️🩹
I have spent the last 2.5 months training one of the most determined clients I have ever met!! When reached out to me on IG saying that she knew me from my previous employer and wanted to train with me I was stoked!!
She filled me in on her medical and physical history including telling me that at the end of August she would be getting surgery on her spine to remove a tumor!! Her surgeon wanted her to gain as much core and upper body strength as possible in preparation for the procedure and that’s how our relationship came to be.
Jess trained with me faithfully 2Xs per week EVERY single week!! Despite being in pain, she went hard every single workout in order to build maximum strength. 💪🏽🏋🏽♀️
On 8/30/21 Jess had surgery and the surgical team was able to remove ALL of the tumor without damaging the nerve!!! 🙌🏽
Swipe ⏪ to see just how amazing Jess did post surgery!! I’m so happy I was able to be a part of her journey and make an impact through this difficult time!!! ❤️

On October 8, 2017, I was declared a Certified Personal Fitness Trainer. Even though I had an official certification document and the praise of dozens of people for my accomplishment, I still wasn’t sure if I could really do this job. Many people aren’t willing to tell their truth, but I have never been one of those people, so here it is.
I’ve always been a physically fit and “solid” female. I played basketball in elementary, middle, and high school and I’ve danced since the age of 7. Even in college, I continued to dance some, but made sure I utilized the Michigan State Campus as my outdoor gym while working as a desk receptionist at a campus gym. No matter what, staying fit and eating healthy was something I enjoyed. I liked the compliments on my body and enjoyed answering the questions of “how do you look so good? what are you doing to stay in shape?” I took positive encouragement like “you should really teach fitness classes” and “ you should really teach dance classes “ to heart and thought why not put myself out there and see what happens?
I began my fitness career auditioning to teach dance fitness classes to children and youth in after school programs throughout the Philadelphia area. Next, I started auditioning to teach dance classes at dance companies throughout the Philadelphia area and New Jersey. In February 2016, two of my coworkers asked that I help get them into shape. I told them that I was not a certified personal fitness trainer. To them that didn’t matter. They wanted my help. I told them that a great form of cardio is dancing and I create simple, but fun and energetic choreography to upbeat music that targets the heart, major and minor muscle groups, and joints. I emphasized “this is NOT Zumba!” They gave it a try and fell in love. Later on that year, the dance company I worked for asked me would I consider teaching dance fitness classes to adults. Through that opportunity, later on in 2016, the owner of a private personal training gym asked me to audition to teach Boot Camp classes for his clients. The clients loved my teaching style, innovative exercises, and music. Clients would ask me did I do personal training and I would always answer “no, I’ve never thought about it”. One day the owner came to me and said that clients kept asking him if I was going to become a personal trainer. He followed up and suggested that I give it some thought and told me if I decided to move forward that he would allow me to study and practice under him until I obtained my certification. He told me he knew I had what it takes and I believed him. I had a paid personal fitness trainer apprenticeship for 6 months and on October 8, 2017 I took the leap of faith and passed my certification exam.
Being a personal fitness trainer is hard work. You have to prove to potential clients that you are better than every other trainer and can get them the results they desire. You have to stay knowledgeable about the latest fitness training programs and always make sure that your body is in top notch shape as an advertisement tool. Above all you have to be a great listener and an empowering Coach for each client. It is a lot of pressure and having only been certified for almost a year, I STILL feel the pressure, but I’m out here putting my best foot forward knowing that I have dozens of clients who can say “RaGina has what it takes”!
Being a dance instructor is also hard work. You have to constantly stay knowledgeable about the latest music on the radio and trends in dance choreography while also teaching the true art of whatever dance genre being taught. I knew I had what it takes when I kept getting contract offers after auditioning to teach for companies and had previous contracts renewed.
KissGFitness came to life in November 2017 with the help of my sister, Sierra McKissick’s designing skills. I wanted to create a name and a business that showcased my gifts of coaching and teaching as well as provide services to individuals looking for that “sweet” but “killer” factor in their lives in order to reveal and unleash their best self. KissGFitness is different than other fitness training services because I developed my dance and fitness training programs based on the desires of the people and not what I feel like the people need. KissGFitness discovers the secret strengths you never knew you had and helps you change your life forever.
