I made a burrito with some leftovers…
The shell is made of coconut since I can’t have gluten
Now I have to make a breakfast burrito mmmmm
This holiday I ate some prepared food and though it’s good taste wise, I know too much of it isn’t good for me … and I don’t know every ingredient so it’s sometimes nerve wracking to trust that it’s fine.
So, to fully kick this cold it’s best to eat good food that I know is good for me without question.
Over the summer when I was at the beach I had a problem at two different food places, I mentioned diet restrictions asked what ingredients were in the smoothies they were serving, they would say oh yeah, no sugar, and then when they thought I wasn’t looking, would sq**rt some weird red sugar syrup in it, so I had to throw them out. I thought it was a little crazy of them to be so reckless, because some allergies are really real, I’m like I guess if you want a lawsuit OK but why would you put your business at risk doing something so dumb? So even when you ask questions to be thorough, you still can’t always trust that people are paying attention, which is why I prefer to make a fair amount of what I eat. Having an autoimmune disorder, reshaped my relationship with premade food, there’s so many reasons why, that’s a major one though… some people don’t pay attention or don’t care, and I swear some people do it just to see if you’ll actually get sick. So be careful out there!
Take care of yourself! ☮️
