Penn Health Initiative A team of college students working to bridge the health education gap in West Philadelphia public sc

Budget cuts in education have eliminated comprehensive health education programs in many schools, and the city's young population is largely unprepared to make informed health-related decisions. Without proper guidance and a positive influence on healthy living, many students are at a high risk for health issues that could have otherwise been prevented. Through after-school workshops, interactive lessons and group discussions, we aim to bridge this gap and provide young students with a proper health education.
