Clinical counselors usually work in private practice and/ or in schools. Clinical counselors prevent, assess, diagnose, and help treat a wide-variety of mental health problems. Clinical counselors primarily concern themselves with helping their clients cope with a broad range of issues.
Dr. Rehak completed her graduate studies and programming in both Clinical & Counseling Psychology in 2005 and graduated from La Salle University in 2006. She has been in private practice in this area since that time.
She is Board Certified in Behavior Analysis and also Board Certified In Telemental-Behavioral Health Services. Clinical Behavior Analysis Case Formulations & A Variety Of Consultative, Clinical, & Counseling Services Continue To Be Available.
Dr. Rehak is Dually Licensed By The State Board of Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists and Professional Counselors and By The State Board Of Medicine. She is also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and a Member of The International Association of Trauma Professionals. She is A Member Of The American Counseling Association and A Member Of The Association For Behavior Analysis International. She is also a VIP Member Of The International Association Of Professional Women and National Association Of Women Business Owners. She maintains active teaching certifications as a former educator (regular and special education).
Dr. Rehak is a Graduate Faculty Member and has been teaching university coursework at the graduate level since 2009. She was recently nominated and selected as Top Professional In Her Industry By IAOTP (International Association Of Top Professionals) For 2019.
She Believes One Of Her Greatest Accomplishments Was Launching The Clinical Counseling Pediatrics Model Site Location For Pediatric Behavioral Health Care Right In Her Own Community.

Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy includes the establishment of a therapeutic relationship and rapport to help clients heal. The process includes homework, inductive reasoning, psychoeducation, relaxation training and the practice of required relaxation techniques. Exposure therapy and ongoing self-assessment for children and families is also typically included.
