Uptown Youth Got Talent (Uptown Theater Philadelphia)

Young Uptown Around Town (Uptown Entertainment and Development Corporation) The Co-Chairs are Niambi Brown and Monifa LaGrone.

The Young Adult Group committee was formed to create opportunities for 21-45 year olds to increase their participation in developing the programs and projects UEDC has sponsored for the last 16 years. It is a leadership development component of the neighborhood and corridor planning that UEDC engages in to stimulate economic development in the Philadelphia region. Our activities consist of the Annual Philly Music Appreciation award ceremony, a networking event, health and wellness fair, school supplies give away in the fall and the Uptown Youth Got Talent (UYGT) S.T.E.A.M program.
