One of the hallmarks of success in transplantation has been the development and availability of the immunosuppression needed to manage organ rejection. For the past 20 years, the availability of these prescription drugs has been safeguarded by public and private actions, even when there have been attempts to reduce and even eliminate completely access to life-saving immunosuppression.

On Saturday, October 25, 2025, TRIO will host a webinar that covers the history of the topic called the 6 Protected Classes (6 PC) Provisions of Medicare Part D. The webinar will start at 2 PM Eastern time via Zoom.
