I love carrot cake. I just don’t love the sugar spike that usually comes with it.

So I made a high-protein, sugar free version and tested it.
They scored a 99 on my CGM.
No spike.
No crash.

Still soft, moist, and topped with creamy frosting.
You don’t have to skip the cupcake to feel your best.
Sometimes you just need a better version.

These look like classic dirt cups…but the base is a creamy, high-protein chocolate pudding made with silken tofu.

Naturally sweetened.
No refined sugar.
Still completely festive.

I love making cute holiday treats, but I also love not being starving an hour later. This one feels fun for the kids and actually filling for me.

These bunny butt cupcakes might be my favorite Easter dessert yet.

The cupcakes and frosting are both made with @‌lifewaykefirkefir, which keeps them incredibly soft and adds a gut-friendly boost.

Then they’re decorated with coconut “fur,” a fluffy white chocolate tail, and little bunny feet.

They’re:
gluten free
refined sugar free
free of artificial dyes
and still completely adorable.

Easter Egg Cheesecakes 🤍🐣

Chocolate egg halves filled with creamy cheesecake made from:
cream cheese
Greek yogurt
maple syrup
collagen
vanilla + lemon

They’re naturally sweetened, super creamy, and honestly way more satisfying than just eating chocolate eggs.

These Chocolate Pretzel Carrots are the EASIEST treat! They only take a couple of minutes to make and are always a hit this time of year!

⭐️ Follow for more simple, festive recipes! ⭐️

Simply pipe melted orange chocolate (I mix white chocolate with natural orange colorant) back and forth over a pretzel stick to form a carrot and then green chocolate (or white chocolate dyed naturally) to form the carrot greens. Freeze for 10 minutes and enjoy!

They’re so quick & easy and the kids think they are so fun!! We enjoy them as is or as toppers for cupcakes!

I love reese's peanut butter cups. I just don’t love the sugar crash that usually follows. And the ingredients.

So I made a 4-ingredient version using dark chocolate, peanut butter, and naturally sweetened filling — and tested it on my glucose monitor.

Two eggs scored a 97.

No spike. No crash.
Just chocolate + peanut butter + feeling good after.

You don’t have to skip the Easter candy to feel your best.
Sometimes you just need a better version.

This year I’ve been really prioritizing protein and fiber, aiming for at least 30 grams of protein at every meal and 30 grams of fiber daily. This was what I ate one day last week (usually I have dessert, but I gave it up for Lent 🙈).

It’s made with cottage cheese, vanilla protein powder, naturally sweetened, and colored with spinach (you truly can’t taste it). And somehow it still feels like a real festive treat.
