Charlene’s Story
Owner and Founder of Helping Hands Senior Services, Charlene Sargent RN, BSN has over 20 years of service as a medical professional working in hospice and home health care. Born in Wickenburg, Arizona and a graduate of Arizona State University with a degree in Nursing, Charlene has excelled as a medical professional throughout her career in health care. Charlene's work experience ranges from caring for terminally ill patients as a registered nurse for hospice to managing a team of nurses as a case manager. She has also worked in skilled nursing facilities, hospitals, and addiction treatment centers. Charlene's experience as a registered nurse gives her the ability to place each client in a home that is appropriate to the client's specific medical needs. Charlene created Helping Hands Senior Services to help guide families and their elderly family members through what she calls the "senior care maze". Helping Hands provides a free service that matches seniors with the facility that best meets their needs. Charlene's passion is to provide peace of mind for seniors and their families.
