It’s late and I’m tired. I’ve just returned from a fundraising activity with a friend. But I know that I am building my BDNF-brain-derived neurotrophic factor- which is responsible for promoting the growth of new cells, improving memory and learning, and enhancing the survival of existing neurons. BDNF is also involved in neuroplasticity. Three factors seem to influence neuroplasticity the most: Exercise, dietary restrictions, and social connections. These things done regularly can improve resilience and change the way your brain views things.
