💙 Team Appreciation Day 💙

To thank our incredible Colonial Family Eyecare team for their hard work and dedication throughout 2025, we took them out for a little adventure—and it did not disappoint.

🛍️ First stop: — one of our favorite local small businesses! We shopped, laughed, and spent time hanging out with the amazing R&S team.
🧥 Next: a thrifting adventure (which turned out to be way more fun than we expected!).
🍽️ Final stop: because all that shopping worked up an appetite. The goat cheese tomato bruschetta was unreal—honestly, everything was incredible.

Such a fun team-building day, and we can’t wait to see how our team pairs their new outfits with new eyewear 👓✨

Today I stopped into Bricks & Minifigs, and I was so impressed! While Bricks & Minifigs is a franchise, each location is locally owned and operated, and it truly shows. 🧱

I needed four very specific LEGO pieces for a build my son was working on, and we found them right away. The store is clean, well organized, and their “fill-a-cup” section makes it easy (and fun) to track down exactly what you need.

We love supporting local business owners in our community—especially when they create spaces like this. We’ll definitely be back soon… honestly, they might as well just take my paycheck. 😄

If you’ve got LEGO lovers at home, this spot is absolutely worth a visit!
