Fred's Fam, we are starting with Nimble Rx today for prescription notifications and eventually more features as well. Some of you have already started receiving those text messages. Simply click the link, enter in your date of birth, and you'll see your prescriptions that are ready for pick up as well as be able to chat directly with us. Your copay costs will be in your profile every time, so there's no longer any need to call and ask for a total after you receive your RX ready alert.
We will be discontinuing use of the Fred's Westside Pharmacy app and moving to Nimble exclusively. Later on more features with Nimble will be added, which will include a pay link with signature capture. You'll be able to pay, sign, and pop by to pick up your order and leave. Again, that functionality will be added at a later date (in about a month) for your use. You'll also be able to use Nimble to purchase a limited supply of OTC items within the pharmacy to include with your prescription pick up.
Thank you for your continued support! We have been growing monthly for years now and with that growth comes pain points that need addressing in order to better serve you. While I purposefully have never wanted to use an automated phone system, the amount of phone calls we get daily has become all that we can handle. The ease of use and features Nimble provides for fully HIPPA compliant patient to pharmacy messaging will allow for many of you to just shoot us a quick text for information regarding your medications.
