There is something about this place… 🌿
The historic Pinckney House has stood with quiet presence for generations, its pillars rooted, its structure steady, witnessing the rhythms of this town long before any of us arrived.
Today, it continues that legacy in a new form, home to Three Pillars Collective and the State Farm Pinckney office, guided by Michael Szafranski and his wife Arlesa, whose care for this space reflects both respect for what has been and a clear vision for what it is becoming.
There is an intention here that you can feel. Not forced, not manufactured, but cultivated. The kind of stewardship that understands a building is not just structure, it is memory, energy, and community held over time.
And just behind it, the space opens.
The patio, tucked away from the street, offers something quieter. The garden begins to return. The land softens. There is a sense of movement that does not rush, a natural rhythm that mirrors the season itself.
This is what spring looks like here. Not a sudden bloom, but a steady unfolding.
Starting in May, we will begin our class schedule, with both indoor and outdoor offerings throughout the week. Most Sundays will be held on the patio, weather permitting, as we also prepare to open a second location in collaboration with a local business, expanding into larger group experiences, while Three Pillars continues to hold the more intimate circles and gatherings this space naturally supports.
You will begin to see a range of offerings take shape, including sound baths, breathwork, yoga and specialty yoga workshops, along with children’s classes, some of which are already available on the website, with more to be shared soon.
There will also be space for discussion based gatherings, wellness markets, and visiting practitioners, creating opportunities to experience different modalities, perspectives, and forms of care. Pop ups and guest offerings will be woven in throughout the season in a way that keeps the space dynamic and evolving.
As part of the work through the Rise of Woman Foundation, and in collaboration with the community garden alongside the Village of Pinckney, DDA, the patio will begin to open more organically this season.
Weather permitting, it will be used at times as a space to gather, pause, and connect, with occasional offerings of coffee and tea. At times, it may also flow into select classes and gatherings in a way that feels natural and unforced.
This is not about creating something separate from what was here before. It is about moving with the natural rhythm of the space, allowing it to bloom into its next chapter, just as it always has.
We are honored to be part of that unfolding 🌱
