Join us in celebrating a nurse who truly redefines what it means to care! We are thrilled to announce Jared Cater, RN, from our ICU department, as Jefferson Regional's "WOW" Employee of the Month.

Jared’s recent nomination from a patient's family perfectly captures his incredible heart and dedication. During a grandmother's two recent ICU stays, Jared provided so much more than exceptional medical care—he gave a worried family true peace of mind.

He built an immediate connection with the family, taking the time to text regular updates on medications and even the comforting small details, like when she was eating.

His commitment to our patients is unmatched. As the family shared in their nomination: "The fact that he drives three hours round-trip every workday says everything you need to know about his dedication. He's exactly the kind of nurse you hope for."
