Body Wisdom & Sacred Birth

Your uterus is not a scar.
It is a living, intelligent muscle.
It remembers rhythm. It responds to safety.

VBAC Tip: Continuous emotional and physical support during labor is associated with improved birth outcomes—including higher VBAC success rates.

That support looks like:
• Someone protecting your environment so you can soften and open
• Someone helping you change positions, breathe, and rest
• Someone holding space for fear without feeding it
• Someone reminding you—this is your birth

VBAC is a spiritual practice of trust.
Trust in your body.
Trust in your intuition.
Trust in your right to informed choice.

If you’re pregnant after cesarean and feeling the quiet pull toward a VBAC, I see you.
🌿 I offer grounded, compassionate VBAC support—message me or visit the link in bio.

So grateful to my sweet husband and amazing doula for the support and love during my vbac in 2024. Can’t wait to do it again in a few months 💜

Pregnancy asks so much of our bodies.
Support isn’t a luxury — it’s a practice. 🌿

Using a ring sling during pregnancy can be a gentle way to honor your body and give your belly the lift it’s been asking for. Here are a few tips to help it feel supportive, balanced, and comfortable:

✨ Thread with intention
When threading your ring sling, feed the fabric through both rings and then back through one, making sure the fabric stays smooth and untwisted. Take a moment here — this is the foundation. Just like birth, how you begin matters.

✨ Spread the fabric wide
Before tightening, fan the fabric across your back and belly. Think of creating a wide, even embrace rather than a narrow pull. A well-spread sling distributes the weight more evenly.

✨ Lift, don’t compress
Position the sling low under the belly and gently lift upward as you tighten. The goal is support, not squeezing. Your belly should feel held and buoyant, not restricted.

✨ Adjust slowly and mindfully
Tighten in small sections, top to bottom, listening to your body as you go. Let your breath guide you. Support should feel grounding and relieving, not rushed.

✨ Check in with your body
You’ll know it’s right when your hips feel lighter, your posture feels more upright, and your body exhales. Support shows up as ease.

As a doula, I believe pregnancy care is part of birth preparation. The way we support ourselves now shapes how we move, rest, and soften for what’s to come.

This is a reminder: you are not meant to carry it all alone.
Support can be simple.
Support can be sacred.

Postpartum healing deserves just as much preparation as birth.

Many families choose placenta encapsulation to support energy levels, mood balance, and recovery during those tender early weeks after baby arrives.

I’m honored to support families through this part of their journey and grateful for every family who trusts me with their care.

✨ Placenta encapsulation spots are limited each month. Booking ahead ensures everything is ready when baby arrives.

Hi, I’m Demacy — mother to two little ones with another on the way, birth worker, and the heart behind Of The Mountain Nurturing Services.

My own journey through birth includes both a cesarean and a VBAC, experiences that shaped my deep respect for how unique every birth story is. Those experiences are what led me to this work — making sure families feel informed, supported, and never alone during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

I’ve been supporting families as a doula for five years and working as a placenta specialist for four, walking alongside parents through some of the most powerful and vulnerable moments of their lives.

My style of support is calm, grounding, and compassionate. I show up without judgment, holding space for your choices while offering evidence-based information, emotional reassurance, and hands-on support when you need it most. Whether your birth unfolds exactly as planned or takes unexpected turns, my goal is for you to feel safe, respected, and supported every step of the way.

Birth isn’t just about how your baby arrives — it’s about how you are cared for, too.

If you’re looking for a doula who will truly walk beside you through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, I would be honored to support your family.

“Where do I begin, Demacy and Audrey are incredible doulas. From the moment I met them, I felt at ease as they guided me in reclaiming my power in preparing for my second birth (after a traumatic first birth). From the way they walked my husband and I through a mock-birth, to the way they decorated my birthing suite, to the way they helped me advocate for the birth experience I envisioned throughout my laboring, I truly felt seen, heard and cared for throughout my birthing experience. With their support, I had a successful VBAC!! I cannot say this enough, if you are in need of a doula, work with Of The Mountain Nurturing Services, you will not regret it.” - AK

🌱

Feeling extra grateful thinking about the time I got to spend with Audrey this past year ✨

From laughs to deep moments to one seriously powerful VBAC birth, it was truly a journey.

Supporting our client through that birth was such an honor, and honestly… I still think about it all the time. Strong, intuitive, and so full of trust in her body — absolute magic. 🌿

Missing you, missing our chats, and wishing you all good things on the path ahead. So thankful our lives crossed and that we got to share such meaningful (and unforgettable) births together. 💫

Ya’ll go give her a follow to see what she’s up to next! ✨❤️
