Founded in 2003, Research & Me was started to solve a serious problem in the way clinical trials and research studies were trying to connect with willing and qualified participants. Academic, corporate, and pharmaceutical researchers were using bulletin boards, newspapers, and public transportation advertisements in the hopes of reaching people that would qualify for their studies. Not only was this expensive and time-consuming, it was yielding the same slow, painstaking results that it had for decades. To bring research recruitment into the 21st century, the Research & Me founders worked with professors, laboratories, and corporate research departments to develop a streamlined, precise online recruitment platform. Now, nearly two decades later, Research & Me is the product of years of work in the research field, realizing a vision of a fast, efficient, and tailored recruitment method for modern research. The Research & Me platform is completely free to use for both researchers and participants alike. Free to join, free to publish studies and free to participate in trials and research. Research & Me gives researchers the tools they need to make managing studies and participant recruitment easy and straightforward. For participants, Research & Me provides a simple and straightforward platform for the general public to review available studies and register for those that interest them. The progress of science and medicine only happens through the efforts of the people who support it - both researchers and participants alike. Over the past decade, this progress has become stagnant and promising life-changing therapies have gone undeveloped for the people in need of these hopeful treatments. Research & Me is committed to advancing the discoveries of science and medicine by connecting groundbreaking research to qualified participants, and creating a people-focused community of research and progress.
