A little about me: My name is Carla and I’m the founder of Healing Minds Yoga. I am a Speech Language Pathologist and Certified Brain Injury Specialist. I was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. I completed a yoga teacher training program for the brain injury population in early 2019 and completed my 200 hour Yoga Teacher Certification in 2020.

I have spent my career working with survivors of brain injury, including stroke and traumatic brain injuries (TBI), and more. I have witnessed first hand the effects a brain injury can have on people, physically, cognitively, emotionally, and even financially.

My hope is to create an inclusive space where survivors and those around them can continue to heal and grow.

I believe that yoga can be accessible to everyone. And through yoga we can find community.
