Since 1975, Allegheny Reproductive Health Center has been helping women in and around Western Pennsylvania. Our staff consists of licensed gynecologists, nurses, nurse practitioners, certified registered nurse anesthetists, techinicians, and master's level counselors. Announcing our venue, (+ some info about the check-process!)

The Kingsley Association is a community center located in the east end of Pittsburgh dedicated to providing quality services and programs to the local community. We believe that by creating meaningful, lasting relationships with our neighbors, we can work together to improve the lives of everyone in our city.

At The Kingsley Association, there are a variety of services, including after-school programs, adult education classes, recreation activities, and much more. We also host a wide range of events, such as book clubs, workshops, and community gatherings.

CHECK IN INFO:
All guests attending events, meetings, or visiting tenants are now required to check in at the front desk upon arrival. Guests will be asked to provide reason for visit, first and last name, and zip code. This will help ensure a safe and welcoming environment while allowing us to better manage building engagement and security.

🩵💕🤍GIRLYPOP DREAM FACTORY: ANNOUNCING TRANS TAILORING🤍💕🩵

Gene Anderson (they/he) is the creator and organizer of Trans Tailoring, an ongoing sewing workshop series and monthly meetup at the Prototype maker-space. Gene will be offering mending and tailoring advice and live services at the event as availability allows. As a self-taught stitcher, quilter and mender who learned to sew clothes that fit his trans body from the generosity of q***r sewing mentors, Gene started Trans Tailoring to continue and expand that journey with others. They’ve been mending clothes for almost a decade, and tailoring clothes in an amateur fashion for the past two years, for himself and others. Lauren(they/she/mx.), the owner and stylist at moondust, joined this industry with a love of art, and found the love of helping people feel like their true selves and feels confident as they should. They specialize in vivid Hair Color, blonding, and non-gendered haircuts, and strive to find a hairstyle and color that fits your lifestyle and level of care abilities. This week the lovely folks .auto.body.shop dropped off flowers for our patients and it honestly has been such a cute delight seeing patients walking out of the clinic after their abortions with such beautiful flowers. We couldn’t thank them enough for such a thoughtful gift to put a smile on our patients faces. Looking forward to more smiles and partnership with this amazing group! Thank you 😊

We are SUPER excited to announce GIRLYPOP DREAM FACTORY at , a night of transfem community building, skill swapping, and more! We have a fabulous lineup, including a measurement station by Ashley , hair styling workshops by Prin .acceptable.organs, DJ on the 1s and 2s, a clothing swap, a gift card raffle, and much more that our community friends are bringing to the table that we will announce throughout the week 💖🩵🤍 This event is FREE and we will be kicking from 5:30-8:30pm on Friday, 3/28! And transmasc friends, we didn't forget about you - watch this space for BIG BOY MUSCLE MANSION coming this summer 💪

MEET THE PANELIST 🤝🏻 We will be joined TONIGHT by our very own Colby Bell!!

Colby Bell (they/them) is an abortion counselor, community engagement team member currently working at Allegheny Reproductive Health Center and a volunteer member of the Western PA Fund for Choice. They are currently completing their master’s degree in social work to continue working in reproductive justice and LGBTQ+ rights and every intersection in between. Outside of work and activism you can find them enjoying an audiobook, podcast, or whatever new show everyone’s talking about at home with their cat Molly.

Join us TONIGHT from 5-7pm in the Alcoa Room at Barco School of Law for “Where Are We Now?: Navigating Reproductive Rights Post-Dobbs” to ask Colby and our other panelists all of your burning repro rights questions!
