Brady Madden Weight Loss and Nutritionals

Brady Madden Weight Loss and Nutritionals We help people reach their weight loss and preventative health goals! We are all about prevention. If you haven't heard of it, it's similar to Chron's Disease.

We believe 100% in the fact that an ounce of prevention, is better than a pound of cure. Years ago, I was diagnosed with a disease called Ulcerative Colitis. Before I knew what this disease was, I had many symptoms, from stomach aches, to bleeding in my large intestine, being very fatiuged, and so on. These symptoms led to much stress because I did not know what was wrong with me. To make matters worse, it seemed like everytime I went in to get checked up at the doctors, they would say things like,
"well if it gets worse call us" and "we are not quite sure, but why don't you try this drug" or my favorite..."lets do a colonoscopy to see what it is" :( It just seemed like their solutions involved me taking a drug, or surgery. This got old after a while. Unfortunatly in todays world, most doctors have less than 4 hours of nutritional schooling! Not one doctor that I saw even came close to suggesting that if I changed my diet a little bit, that my symtoms would diminish! (As a side note, my diet wasn't even that bad to begin with) To give the doctors a little credit... they did help diagnose that I was suffering from Ulcerative Colitis (UC) Once I knew what the issue was, I started to do my own research. (which was not easy because there is so much false info out there today) So I researched what things I could and could not eat, which was VERY surprising to me. I was taking many different nutritional supplements at the time, but researched ones I should use more of and with in 2 months my symptoms had greatly diminished! Today I feel great, and have very very minuscule symptoms if any! I decided to take a course that certifies me as a registered nutrition consultant, so that I can share my story as well as the many other people I have been fortunate to help over the years. My passion is in helping people. I see many people who come into my office and they are so discouraged because they had one health issue, which they didn't treat then became another. Then the doctor gave them a prescription, which gave them a side effect, then they had to take another and now its almost like it spirals out of control. Ladies and gentleman, I am here to inform you that most of the little symptoms that you experience on a daily basis, are there because of a nutrtional deficiency. Even weight gain! I offer free wellness consultations for anyone interested in finding more information out! Any nutrition or service we offer is very affordable reguardless of any budget a person may be on. Call us or message me today and set up your FREE consultation! Too many people these days are living their lives overweight and obese. I hear these words all the time “I hate running outside. I feel like I look so stupid and I’m going so slow. People are probably thinking ‘What is she doing out there?”

Here’s what I have to say to that: There are three kinds of people that will pass you by.:

1. Runners in a car: “Work it, momma! That hill is a beast! So glad my run is over for the day. When can I run again?”

2. Runners running: “Hi. This sucks doesn’t it? But so awesome. Have a good run.”

3. Non runners: “I should be doing that. But it looks hard. I should not do that.”

Haters gonna hate, players gonna play. Which group do you want to be a part of? Me? I’d rather be standing at the top of the hill that I just dominated, unable to breathe, ready to puke, hair matted to my forehead and b**b sweat on my shirt than at the bottom wondering what it would feel like.

5 reasons why chocolate is healthy for you!....
1. Chocolate Antioxidants

Did you know that raw, unprocessed cocoa is actually the richest antioxidant food in the entire world? Antioxidants help protect our bodies from developing cancer, and it is recommended to get a minimum of 3,000 to 5,000 ORAC in antioxidants per day.

2. Cardiovascular Benefits

The stuff that makes up cocoa helps to reduce cardiovascular damage by increasing the production of good (HDL) cholesterol. This essentially clears up the blood vessels from harmful fats.

The flavonoids found in cocoa help to decrease clots from forming that can cause damage to the heart muscle blood vessels. These flavonoids allow stronger blood flow to the heart and allows for the blood vessels to dilate more easily. Additionally, cocoa has anti-inflammatory properties, which help stop inflammation from damaging our bodies.

3. Blood Pressure

Moderating our intake of dark chocolate on a regular basis helps decrease blood pressure in several situations, which essentially helps to decrease the damage to our heart vessels.

Just as well, coca is a renninangiotension enzyme inhibitor, which operates similarly in the way that many blood pressure pills and drugs work.

4. Oral Health

Believe it or not, but consuming dark cocoa and dark chocolate products can actually help to reduce dental cavities, prevent gum disease, and even decrease the amount of plaque found on our teeth. Of course, this won’t be the case when the chocolate is loaded up with sugar, so choose high cacoa content chocolate (65% or higher) and skip the sugar.

5. Mental Alertness & Antidepressant

Other research has found that chocolate contains theobromine, a small amount of caffeine, and anandamide. These all act as mental alertness chemicals and help elevate our moods for a short period of time.

Antidepressant properties were proven by researchers when they discovered that both serotonin and dopamine levels increased after chocolate consumption. The carbohydrates and theobromine help stimulate the nervous system, which results in extra energy. Some research has also proven that chocolate can even be used to help stimulate women with low libidos.

This small summary of health benefits from cocoa and dark chocolate is enough proof as to why so many people call it a super food. One ounce of dark chocolate at 65% of greater cocoa content is a great addition to your daily diet and for optimal health results.
