Trans Day of Visbility 🏳️‍⚧️
Keep in mind that visibility without protection is dangerous for marginalized communities, that's why we continue to fight for protections of the trans community!
Just today the Supreme Court ruled against conversion therapy bans.. this is a practice that the UN classifies as torture. Things NEED to change!

Reminder that the following are examples of gender-affirming care that cisgender people take advantage of daily: Hormones for menopause and low testosterone, hair removal/transplants, breast augmentations and reductions, erectile dysfunction medications/surgeries, botox and facial fillers, wigs and hair extensions, makeup, steroids, etc.. the list could go on and on. 🩵🩷🤍🩷🩵

The sociopolitical construct that we are currently experiencing is one that's been played through before, time and time again, rooted in racism and the great replacement theory. We have the power and knowledge to make change!

St. Patrick’s Day is a celebration of history and heritage. It’s about friotaíocht, resistance. 🇮🇪 🇵🇸
For centuries, the Irish people fought to protect their land, language, culture, and dignity against colonization and oppression. From the preservation of the Irish language, to rebellions and movements for independence, Ireland’s story is one of resilience and refusal to disappear.
Friotaíocht means resistance, the quiet kind that keeps a language alive, and the loud kind that demands freedom.
Irish pride runs deep not because of myths or stereotypes, but because generation after generation chose courage over silence. Identity meant more than erasure. They chose freedom for themselves and advocate for the same on other parts of the world.
So today, remember the deeper meaning behind the celebration.. If you put on the country's colors, know what they have seen.
