Hand-painting my daughter’s elementary school might just be my new favorite core memory 🥹💛

Walking through those halls she skips down every morning… knowing I got to leave something magical behind for her and all the little hearts that fill this building? Truly the sweetest feeling.

There’s something different about creating art for kids — they don’t need perfection or polish… they just want joy, color, and characters that feel like friends. That’s exactly what I hoped these bees would be for them.

And Kinley? She is so proud.
She tells me how all of her friends love to pretend to play piano on the wall and she smiles and just says, “my mom made that!”
I swear my heart melted right into the floor. To leave a piece of myself inside the school she grows, learns, and giggles in every day… what an honor.

Here’s to saying yes to projects that take time and trust — because when they’re for our kids, it hits different.
