Collagen does NOT increase muscle protein synthesis
Protein is a complement to not a replacement for strength training

Third session with Pittsburgh Figure Skating Club talking about performance nutrition intuition for competition . How we fuel and hydrate over the week is the priority (entree) and event fueling is the dessert! Only choose foods that are familiar, food +fluid. Less is more before we skate. Lots of Littles. Small bites, sweet and savory, fruit- fresh, dried, canned, cheese cubes, jerky, peanut butter crackers/pretzels, hummus and pretzels, PBJ, nuts, a bar even pasta salad can help the body be fueled not fooled. What we eat and drink is the internal equipment we bring to the rink!
