Just gals supporting gals...Happy Galentine's Day🌹

Surrounding myself with other female business owners has been so impactful and supportive.

🩷Grateful for the connections I've made...not just in this picture, but everywhere. If that applies to you, thank you.

🩷Grateful for all of the opportunities

🩷Grateful for the successes.

🩷Grateful for the hurdles and even the lessons the hurdles taught me.

Treat yourself and pamper yourself today and over the weekend because...frankly we deserve it😉🫶❤️

Yes, I jumped on the ChatGPT caricature band wagon trend 🙃

I couldn't help myself because it's truly intriguing to me to see how AI has been producing these caricatures of everyone. The vibe, the colors, the elements that are brought in...makes you go hmmm.

It's pretty spot on, but the bicycle has me thinking because I don't even own a bike. Maybe it's suggesting I get one! 😅

Spreadsheets and charts...oh yeah! I'm all about those!

Yoga mat? I used to be all about hot yoga and have gotten off track. One of my 2026 goals was actually to get back into it...another nudge from AI 😃

Some of these details reflect the wellness values I bring into my work, inspired by my background in that space.

All the social media icons, laptop, books, charts....yep, pretty accurate there.

Use prompt: "Make a caricature of me and my job with everything you know about me."

Voila...this is mine! Share yours to stories and tag me so I can see yours!

Writer’s block is a real thing 🤔
You sit down to write content for social media, a blog, or an email newsletter… and suddenly your fingers just sit on the keyboard.

Maybe you even turn to AI to get the wheels turning.

I don’t know about you, but some of my best ideas come to me in the shower (😅). Once the water’s on, I’m a machine. The ideas flow and they’re good ones. I call it my think tank. Where’s yours?

But sometimes? The ideas just don’t come that easily.

If you’re feeling stuck and assuming you’re “out of ideas,” try this simple reset ⬇️

▪️Answer one client or customer question
▪️Share one insight you’ve learned
▪️Explain one process you use

That’s it. Easy peasy.

One piece of content doesn’t need to do everything. Even using one of these can highlight the work you do, a reflection you’ve had, or a system that supports you behind the scenes.

✨ Save this for the next time you’re stuck.

We did this 21 times. In the snow.

This is your reminder that not everything you see is effortless 👀

We saw this idea and thought it would be quick and fun. In reality, the freezing temps, the numb legs that felt like frostbite, and the wet phone placement chaos made things interesting 🥶

21 tries later to get this centered...we got one!

Still worth it. Sometimes you just commit and laugh through it😅

Pittsburgh is officially in winter storm mode.
Snow. Frigid temps. “Did you get gas?” texts flying everywhere.

My husband prepares with batteries, generators, and all the things.

I prepare with my Kindle, the dog, and some slippers.

Different people feel calm in different ways.

And honestly, that’s always been my approach... finding what actually helps people feel steady instead of overwhelmed.

Even on snow days 😉

Stay warm, Pittsburgh ❄️
However you’re prepping...you’re probably doing it right!

Are you "team batteries" 🔋 or "team tinis"🍸?

Entrepreneurship and solopreneurship are easier when you intentionally build connections...

Friday's event was a great example of that. A room filled with 40 women showed up to learn, grow, and surround themselves with motivation and positivity.

The topic was "leadership", the food was fantastic, and the energy in the room was 💯! Those are just a few valuable takeaways from events like this🧡

Even if you leave having made one new connection or strengthened an existing one, you’ve taken a step toward building a strong, supportive circle.

For me, it was such a feel-good way to end my week🍃

I stopped asking 'when should I create content?' and started paying attention to when it felt easiest...

💡What I've learned is that my best ideas don't show up when I force them.

Creating content does not have to happen at a certain time of day or when someone suggests you should be creating.

Early mornings tend to work the best for me, not because it feels magical, but because my mind is less cluttered and more alert. I feel energized and motivated and that same energy shows up when I'm designing or writing.

It's a good reminder that content isn't just about strategy, it's about energy, too 💫

For you, maybe it's also the quiet and calmness of the early hours, maybe it's sitting in a waiting room, or the extra hour in between meetings at a coffee shop.

If you've been following a lot of "you should do this" advice, a little trial and error paired with some observation and reflection can go a long way in reducing overwhelm and frustration👍

Very unusual for me, but the only documentation I have from yesterday was this one moment...

A New Year kickoff team meeting with a client and their team focused on openness, vulnerability, and confidentiality...so having just this was more than enough. The most meaningful moments were in the day’s takeaways, not in photos.

Facilitated by Holly Holly Joy McIlwain from NarrowSpaces the space felt safe for every team member to share honest feedback about their roles, what they need from one another, their greatest strengths, and how each person can help elevate the business in the year ahead.

When asked what strength I bring to the team, my answer was simple: strategy. Seeing the big picture. Creating a plan. Fitting all the puzzle pieces together. It genuinely brings me so much joy 🙃

While I’m not physically present with the team day-to-day (aside from filming days), I support them from a distance. Hearing their thoughts firsthand was so valuable because at the end of the day, my role is to help increase their bottom line, tell their story, and make them shine online.

Holly did an exceptional job keeping the meeting on track, asking the perfect questions to spark conversation and provide such a thoughtful, confidential space.

Grateful to have been part of the day...and the Friday afternoon cocktail at my seat when I arrived was the cutest way to wrap up the week🍸

This was my final business event and holiday get-together of 2025, and it couldn't have been a more fulfilling way to close out the year.

Gathered with a group of friends who are fellow entrepreneurs...women building businesses with heart.

We touched on the past year and reflected on the year ahead. We exchanged our "favorite things". We feasted on loads of Italian dishes. We laughed. And... we motivated each other on what's to come in this new chapter 📖

Here's to more moments like this and to supporting one another in the year ahead 🫶

Let's start this new chapter on the right foot...📖

Friday started me in that right direction as I attended a workshop that allowed me to reflect on my past and future self. I met myself on 1/1/25 and then again on 1/1/27. To hear what I would tell myself prior to knowing what 2025 brought and then again after 2026 was complete was so intriguing and full of yes moments. Things such as:

💭January, 1, 2025..."Things are coming that will require you to step outside your comfort zone" AND then January 1, 2027..."You far exceeded what you thought you were capable of".

❗️This year my words of the year are 1️⃣ BOUNDARIES and 2️⃣ BALANCE. Because setting boundaries brings balance and balance supports boundaries.

📈 2025 was a huge business growth year for me from every angle and for that I'm forever grateful. Mentally, emotionally, and financially...wow! But, with that came so many lessons learned and challenges overcome which both also deserve my gratitude.

With success comes the need for balance ⚖️ because without balance we're living to work instead of working to live. Right?

So...bring it on 2026...I'm ready and waiting! Here's to entrepreneur life and taking the successes of 2025 and continuing the momentum into this new chapter.

I wish you all the best chapter yet...🫶

▫️One filled with good health because without our health the road ahead brings challenges.

▫️One filled with pure joy that fills your cup and not anyone else's.

▫️One filled with success that is a result of you, your efforts, and your goals being met.

Thank you for being here and for being part of my journey 🧡...and hello 2026, let's get started!

What are YOUR words for 2026?

Most likely the only planner page that will be blank all year... 🗓

I got that throwback "new box of crayons" feeling when I opened this baby today... 🖍

When we're pushing forward and even leveling up to achieve new goals, it's so important to implement a system that allows for accountability and organization.

No, this isn't some breakthrough idea. Not an "omg...that's a genius idea" moment either.

But, for me this right here lights me up. I feel lighter, I feel fueled, I feel grounded when I see the whole road ahead.

I'm about to lay out my main objectives for the year, add in quarterly checks to check in on my progress, note ongoing monthly tasks, as well as weekly tasks. I'll spend hours and hours doing this initial planning because well, the juice is so worth the squeeze🍊

I then weekly plan with "flexible time blocking". This happens either Friday, Saturday, or Sunday prior to the next week. The anxiety that decreases when this is in place and a plan is waiting for me each day, has been beyond critical to my ability to increase my project and client load this past year...and maintain my sanity😉

I'm not all paper and also have digital systems in place, but this system I've created for myself keeps me on track and my clients happy and growing 🌱

Don't look ahead with overwhelm, look ahead with calm and control instead 👍

What does your go-to planning system look like?

As the year winds down, I’ve been reflecting on what truly supported my business...and my nervous system too 🧠

It wasn’t about doing more.

It was about structure, simple systems, movement, and trust built over time.

These are a few things that helped me stay focused, grounded, and consistent...and they’re coming with me into the new year 🎉

What’s one thing that supported you this year?
