Strawberries are one of the easiest fruits to grow, making them perfect for new gardeners or busy families. Just find a sunny spot, loosen the soil, and plant them 12–18 inches apart. Add a little organic compost or worm castings, and mulch with straw or wood chips. Water weekly and watch them thrive. They multiply naturally with runners, so next year you’ll have even more!

Day 4 – Strawberry Chia Bowl Recipe: A Gut-Loving Breakfast

Here’s a breakfast idea that’s as nourishing as it is beautiful—and it's super simple to make!

Strawberry Chia Bowl

Ingredients:
• 2 tbsp chia seeds
• 1/2 cup grass fed whole milk or plant-based milk, coconut is most readily available without gums and thickening agents that are bad for gut health.
• 1/2 cup chopped homegrown organic strawberries
• 1 tbsp shredded coconut
• 1 tbsp whole milk organic or plant based yogurt

Instructions:
Soak chia seeds in plant milk overnight in the fridge.

In the morning, stir well and top with fresh strawberries, coconut, and yogurt.
