Are you aware of the signs and symptoms of adult onset food allergies? Attached is info on the proper was to administer epinephrine.

MYTH: Epinephrine can be administered anywhere on the body.

FACT: Epinephrine is injected into the muscle of your outer thigh ONLY. To inject it anywhere else may increase the chance of having serious side effects.

We have been seeing more and more misinformation on how to administer epinephrine across social media so we wanted to take this chance to educate everyone. Do not inject it into a vein, into your fingers, toes, hands, or feet, and PLEASE do not place it in the center of your chest.

Epinephrine is the first-line treatment for anaphylaxis, a severe and potentially life-threatening allergic reaction. While it is a safe and highly effective medication that can reverse severe allergy symptoms, it can have serious side effects if used improperly.
