Meet HPNA’s Volunteer of the Month: Erica Frechman, PhD, AGPCNP-BC, ACHPN®, NEA-BC, FPCN®!

Erica is an Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine in the Section on Gerontology and Geriatrics at Advocate Health and Wake Forest University School of Medicine. She has contributed her time and expertise to HPNA through numerous volunteer roles, including serving as a member and chair of the HPNA FPCN® Engagement and Selection Committee, a member of the HPNA Research Advisory Council, Co-Chair of the HPNA Emerging Scholars SIG, a member of the HPNA Advance Care Planning Task Force, and a member of the AAHPN and HPNA Annual Assembly Planning Committee.

When asked about being her volunteer experience, she explained "I have had wonderful volunteer experiences with HPNA that have enriched my professional career as a clinician, leader, and researcher."
