"Wactivists" lol

Dear Chris,
In this community, we see activists and wactivists. As an activist organization, PhillyNORML serves the public every weekend for free at two locations in Philadelphia, since the inception of the Pennsylvania medical cannabis program. PhillyNORML has been helping folks get pardons for many years, without pardon boxes, no maintenance required. We believe that providing forms and expungement boxes is an honorable thing. However, let the wactivists worry about email addresses, defaming, and other NON-RELEVANT matters.
Kindest regards,
PhillyNORML

IF PEOPLE CANT AFFORD THEIR MEDICINE LET THEM GROW IT!

Many Pennsylvanians are suffering because they can not afford their medicine, our neighbors are going without the treatment they need because of price gouging by many MSOs (Multistate operators). To combat this epidemic PhillyNorml proposes home grow initiatives to enable Pennsylvanians to grow their own therapeutics. Those who wish to grow in their homes should be able to!

Jefferson Health treats cannabis PATIENTS like CRIMINALS and UNFIT parents, but we should TRUST them doing RESEARCH? Are they looking specifically for NEGATIVE outcomes in order to push more STIGMA, drug rehabilitation and big pharma. 🤔

On Thursday, August 26, 2021, moments before going into labor, a maternity patient at Abington hospital in Montgomery County Pennsylvania was told she was not allowed to breastfeed her newborn child on hospital grounds, because of her medical ma*****na use.

The patient and her husband pushed back and the hospital administration later changed their position, but noted they're documenting everything and reporting to relevant authorities.

***Update from parents*** 29Aug2021
Baby comes home tomorrow! DHS visited mom and dad in hospital. They also visited the home. There might be another visit, but they're not sure. Although the parents were upset about how everything was communicated right before delivery, and they noted it caused inappropriate stress, mom and dad are very happy with their experience at Abington hospital. All of the nurses and staff were wonderful! Mom and dad appreciate the actions taken and have utmost respect for DHS and what they do to help children in bad situations. This should be a lesson learned for all mother's who are also medical cannabis patients. Mom has decided to refrain from using cannabis while breastfeeding because the long-term effects are unknown. Rest assured this is a topic near and dear to our heart now and we will continue to examine the effects of post-partum cannabis use and breastfeeding 💚
