On December 28th, National Short Film Day commemorates the day the motion picture industry was born, when the Lumiรจre brothers projected a program of short films to a public audience for the first time.
Watch short films all day. Share your favorite short films, write in the comments below what short films you watched so all of us can join you and we can support these short film makers by spreading the word! ๐ŸŽž๐Ÿฟ๐ŸŽฌ

Since 2011, National Ugly Christmas Sweater Day has grown to be an international event. Now occurring on the third Friday of December, the celebration gives holiday lovers worldwide a chance to wear their ugly Christmas sweaters with pride! Have fun and get creative!

Try these tips to take the prize:
โ€ข Animal or cartoon characters with a holiday theme give sweaters a kitsch feel. Think reindeer, snowmen, mice, kittens or elves.
โ€ข Select ridiculous colors. The more they clash, the better.
โ€ข Embellish. Scratch that. Over-embellish! Pom-poms, bells, felt, tinsel, or any other glittery, jingly items lying around the house.
โ€ข Add a collar, dickey, or ruffle.
โ€ข Electrify it! Put Rudolph to shame and go to the head of the team with bright, flashing lights!
โ€ข Give it some 80s flair with shoulder pads.

WILDLIFE CONSERVATION DAY๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿฆ๐Ÿฆ’๐Ÿฆ“๐Ÿ…๐Ÿข
Each year on December 4th, Wildlife Conservation Day seeks to spread awareness about preserving and protecting the natural world and its inhabitants. Additionally, the observance strives to put an end to wildlife crime and supporting the Endangered Species Act.
Wildlife crime includes illegal poaching and smuggling of animals. Additionally, it includes transporting a specific animal product by criminal groups to make a profit. A few examples would be rhino horns and elephant tusks. Wildlife crime is detrimental to the ecosystem as it causes animals to become endangered or extinct.
Because of poaching, these six animals are at risk of becoming extinct: Elephants, Rhinos, Tigers, Sea turtles, Lemurs and Gorillas.๐Ÿ’”
Can you imagine living in a world where these fantastic animals no longer exist? If wildlife crime continues, it could very well happen. This is why Wildlife Conservation Day focuses on putting an end to wildlife crime!
Spread awareness and spread the love for these beautiful animals!!โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ
