⏰ Daylight Saving Time begins this weekend!
We move our clocks forward one hour, it’s a good reminder that even small changes in sleep can affect our mental health and overall well-being.
Losing an hour of sleep may leave many of us feeling a little more tired, irritable, or unfocused in the days that follow.
At Hendricks Behavioral Hospital, we encourage everyone to take a few simple steps to ease the transition:
*Go to bed a little earlier the night before
*Get natural sunlight in the morning
*Stick to your regular sleep routine as much as possible
*Be patient with yourself if you feel a little off for a day or two
*Prioritize rest and healthy routines
