Our dedicated team is committed to providing individualized therapy plans tailored to each child's unique needs, with our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) ensuring expert supervision and optimal program outcomes.

About Us

Our Program

Adapt for Life is a proudly Veteran-Owned and locally operated clinic in New Albany, Indiana. At Adapt for Life, your child will always be recognized as an individual with so much potential to uncover. As an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) provider, we identify every child’s individual social, behavioral and communication needs and tailor a treatment plan

that promotes the best opportunity for success. Every child is given individualized treatment goals derived from scientific approaches to alter specific behaviors. Along with 1:1 therapy with a Registered Behavior Technician, the program also consists of weekly consultations by a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst to manage progress and goals. We also offer the opportunity for monthly parent training to discuss the child’s progress and ways to promote consistency within all environments.

Our Staff

Our dedicated team of qualified staff make coming to ABA such a positive and fun experience for our clients. We have cultivated an environment of knowledgeable and caring individuals who embrace every child’s unique qualities while progressively unfolding their true potential. Every therapist is licensed by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board and completes ongoing training for each individual child. Many of our technicians are even furthering their

education in the field and on the path to becoming Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) themselves. Our current BCBA and Clinical Director, Heather Tomes, has over 10 years of experience with children with autism and is available as a constant support and guide for staff and clients.

Our Process

It can be difficult, for most parents, once their child has received a definitive diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Not to mention, the process of choosing an ABA provider

may even feel a little daunting. However, we try to make the process as simple and straight forward as possible. If you are interested in services, we invite you to ask questions and come visit us to see what we are all about! We offer facility tours on a walk-in or scheduled basis and will schedule a one on one consultation, with our BCBA, if you are interested in having your child assessed for admission in to our program. Adapt for Life is in network with most commercial insurance companies and are willing to work with out of network insurers.
