Manipulating other buttons and switches on your firearm, with your trigger finger, is a bad idea.

Also, one of the safety rules is “never point a firearm at anything you’re not willing to kill or destroy”. If your light is attached to your firearm and you’re pointing that light at something, you’re pointing your firearm at the same thing as well.

AMMUNITION ISSUES

Most malfunctions are caused by ammunition issues of some sort. Recently had someone shooting a mixture of 5.56 ammo they had purchased several years ago. A few times during the training the round passed back into the casing. During brass clean up they noticed a split in the necks of many of the casings.
