Our Program Director served as a panelist at Montgomery County Community College’s Medical Assistant Recruiting Event this morning! She sat alongside colleagues from Penn, Jefferson, Dermatology Partners, and others, to talk about their respective organizations, offer interview advice to the new grads, and meet potential candidates for open positions.

We’re very encouraged by the number of MA grads who are interested in working in mental health and substance abuse! At your next visit, you may see a new face in the office as our practice continues to grow.

It's no secret that our Program Director, Lauren, is a big Taylor Swift fan! In true "Swiftie" fashion, she found an excerpt from a documentary Taylor released in 2020 where she discusses the song "This Is Me Trying" and its relation to addiction/mental health. Dr. Volpicelli was invited to conduct a live AMA on the r/alcoholism_medication subreddit group. His mission in doing this live chat was to field questions regarding Alcohol Use Disorder and ensure that participants received evidence-based answers to their inquiries.

Our sister organization, Institute of Addiction Medicine, has officially launched its own YouTube channel! The purpose of the Institute is multifaceted, but one important aspect is that it seeks to educate other healthcare professionals and the public on addictive disorders.
