Joyful Companions caregivers enhance the quality of life for seniors, those with memory loss, and people with disabilities through non-medical companionship and homemaking services. We specialize in memory care and lend a helping hand with light housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry, transportation, and respite care for families. We develop an affordable plan to assist our clients with the goal of remaining independent for as long as possible. Our caregivers offer meaningful connections while assisting families with current needs to stay in their familiar environment. Companion care is ideal for older adults who are isolated due to weakness, cognitive impairment, or live alone. We serve with love and grace which offers comfort and security in knowing that your loved one will be supported with the highest quality of attention and care. After meeting with you, we will create a care plan that is tailored to your family to help make life easier and more enjoyable. We serve with consistent and committed caregivers for the full realm of non-medical care, through end-of-life. As our families come to a point where they need a service beyond what we offer, our care team is skilled in helping to set up resources in our community that we trust. Our companion services can be covered by a Long Term Care Insurance policy, and our staff will help you receive reimbursement for our care. Our Caregivers:
Joyful Companions Home Care is committed to maintaining our reputation of having wonderful caregivers with servant hearts who provide the highest quality of care to our clients. Many of our caregivers are college graduates with past experience in caregiving, and all are trained in memory care. They receive training on Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease, assistance with activities of daily living, problem-solving techniques with difficult behaviors, and communication skills. Our caregivers choose to be a part of Joyful Companions Home Care because they have a heart for serving seniors and people in need and feel this is a rewarding and fulfilling experience. Caregivers are thoughtfully placed with each family as we strive to match interests and needs that will foster a long-lasting relationship. Our caregivers respect important details, preferences, and personal specifications when helping others. We use a thorough selection process including extensive reference and background checks for each caregiver on staff. Caregivers record notes for families to remain updated with the activities, pertinent information and events that occurred during every visit.
