A new design is on its way… 👀

Hands down, my most popular pattern last year was my SNOW FERN SHAWL. Knitters loved this pattern and I honestly don’t know if it’s my Snow Fern stitch, the shawl shape or just a combination of the two. But this pushed me to come up with a new design that utilizes the Snow Fern stitch but allows you to throw something on over your head without any fuss. Think, a fluffy warm shawl that doesn’t need to be styled or pinned or tied into place.

I’m still working the pattern up and tweaking some design elements here and there. But I’m shooting for sometime next week to have this one ready for testing. 🥳

An added bonus is that this cowl only takes ONE skein of BILLOW. This yarn has been an absolute dream to work with. The blend of baby alpaca and Pima cotton create a soft, squishy fabric that lends warmth and a beautiful halo to your knitted garments. And the skeins have a very generous 320 yards/290 m! 👏

Here’s some of the details for this test:
• Test will be 6 weeks long.
• Finished throw measurements are 40” x 55”
• Throw requires approximately 1,650 yards of WORSTED weight yarn
• US 8/5 mm 32”/41 cm circular needle for working back & forth
• 5 mm crochet hook for bind off
