We don’t do this journey alone! While the work happens on the gym floor, the fuel often comes from the people standing in our corner. They are the true MVPs of our consistency and motivation.

Let’s celebrate them today!

👇 Tag your fitness support system in the comments and give them their flowers for always keeping you on track.

I’m tired of seeing you waste hundreds of dollars guessing with supplements when the foundation is cracked.

If you are a new client of mine, I’d rather see you take that supplement cash and spend it on these three things instead:

1️⃣ An in-person PT session. MASTER the movements. If your form is trash, you are getting injured, not building muscle where you want it. Let’s build it right the first time.

2️⃣ A non-supplement reward. Save that cash for when you hit your short-term fitness goal. A massage or a new gym outfit. This isn’t greedy; it’s motivation to keep showing up to the things that actually matter. Consistency is the real supplement.

3️⃣ Comprehensive bloodwork. If you’re always fatigued, don’t guess. Test your thyroid, hormones, Vitamins, and Iron. If we are going to supplement, let’s be strategic. Let’s figure out where we can make the most difference, not just buy what’s on sale or a “fix-all” peptide.

Stop guessing. Start hacking your fitness with data and discipline.

👇 Which one of these are you prioritizing next? Let me know!

Watching these baby sea turtles hatch and make their way to the ocean was one of those moments that kind of sneaks up on you.

At first you’re just watching these tiny little things flop out of the sand like “how on earth are they going to make it all the way to the water?” Because they’re not fast. They’re not coordinated. A wave knocks one sideways and you think well…that one’s done for.

But then it just flips itself back over and keeps going.

They don’t sit there overthinking it. They don’t try to figure out the safest path. They definitely don’t wait for the perfect moment when the waves calm down.

They just…keep moving toward the ocean.

Some of them pause for a second. Some get pushed around a little. But none of them turn around and head back to the sand like “you know what actually this feels hard, never mind.”

And honestly the longer I watched them the more I was like…this is basically how progress works too.

Everyone thinks results come from some big dramatic reset. A brand new program. A surge of motivation. A “this time I’m doing everything perfectly” moment.

But most of the time it looks a lot more like those turtles.

You get knocked sideways a little. You pause. You regroup. And then you keep moving in the direction you said you wanted to go.

Not perfect. Not your “Instagram moment”. Just forward.

Turns out that’s usually enough to get you to the ocean.

Friday in Nicaragua and the jungle continues to keep things interesting.

We woke up to our usual howler monkey alarm clock echoing through the trees, which is honestly a much cooler way to start the day than an iPhone notification. Coffee, ocean air, and another round of lectures at Costa Dolce.

The morning was focused on the business education portion of the retreat, which honestly got me fired up. We talked about where we’re going with our ideas and what’s possible when you actually commit to building something meaningful. I have a lot of thoughts brewing about the direction I want to take both my life and my business. Let’s just say…there are some pretty exciting ideas coming. Stay tuned.

Later we had a cacao ceremony, which ended up being one of those unexpectedly grounding moments. Sitting in a circle with the girls on this trip, slowing down enough to actually reflect on what we want to create in our lives helped me get really clear on the direction I want to move in and the kind of impact I want to make.

Then came the temazcal. I’ve done one before in Mexico, but this one was very different. Way more peaceful…but also WAY hotter. I’m pretty sure I sweat out every toxin I’ve accumulated since 2007. Before going in, I turned my phone off and gave myself space to just absorb the experience.

In the evening we attempted salsa dancing lessons, which started off as pure chaos. Everyone tripping over their own feet, bumping into each other, absolutely zero rhythm happening. But somehow by the end we were actually in semi-organized lines hitting the choreography like we knew what we were doing.

We wrapped the night with a bonfire on the beach, just hanging out, relaxing, and watching the waves roll in while hermit crabs wandered around the sand.

Somewhere between the howler monkeys in the morning, sweating through the temazcal, dancing badly, and ending the night under the stars…it hit me how cool it is to step outside of your normal life for a minute.

Also…for the record, the lack of hot water is starting to feel completely normal now.

What even is this week anymore.

We did a photoshoot today and I almost didn’t post this picture.

Not because I hate it, but because my brain immediately did what it always does…zoomed in on everything I’d change. If you’ve ever lost a lot of weight, you probably know exactly what I mean. I used to weigh 210 pounds, and even after losing over 90 pounds my brain is still very capable of picking apart every inch of my body if I let it.

But while we were shooting, my friend snapped this from the side and was like “holy s**t you look amazing.” And it honestly stopped me for a second, because sometimes the people around you see the progress way more clearly than you do.

I still see the loose skin. I still see the places I wish were tighter. I still see the things I’m working on.

But when I zoom out for a second, this body also lost 90+ pounds. It got strong enough to step on a bodybuilding stage. It hikes jungles, practices yoga for hours, and apparently climbs on random stone tables in Nicaragua for photos.

The version of me that weighed 210 pounds would have never believed this picture was possible.

So yeah, part of my brain will probably always be a little critical. But I’m learning to let the pride speak a little louder than the criticism.

And today felt like a pretty good reminder of how far I’ve come.
