I hope everyone had a restful Thanksgiving Break! I know I did. We were in Wisconsin for a couple days visiting my mom, sister, and neices/nephews, and came home for it to snow a TON yesterday. My kids loved it and I know they will be back out at some point today! Maybe Ill make them clean off the vehicles and shovel the driveway 🤣🤣

As a massage therapist, I dont always take care of my body the way I need to. This Sunday consists of snuggling my favorite cat, looking at my beautiful Christmas tree, and reading one of my assigned Doula readings ❤️ (followed by laundry of course) and then a massage later this week with Kristy Folkerts 😍😍

**I am working on something EXCITING!!**

I am your newest local Doula, working on a certification program!! My goal for the near future is to be able to bring my Birth &Postpartum Doula services, Lactation Consultation, and Birth Education classes to the Livingston County& surrounding areas!

I am currently accepting Birth clients! I need 5 births in order to obtain my certification, so my first 5 births will be highly discounted at only $500! October 19th through the 25th is National Massage Therapy Awareness Week!

Prenatal Massage Therapy carries SO many benefits to the pregnant momma! Not only is it beneficial physically, but also emotionally! While it helps to reduce every day pains caused by pregnancy, it also helps relieve stress and anxiety, promotes circulation and lymphatic drainage(think foot swelling!), AND can help improve your quality of sleep!

As a Prenatal Massage Therapist, my biggest recommendation is to get a massage as often as you see your Dr! As long as it is safe to do so, of course!

I had the pleasure of being recruited once again to be a Premiere Runner Program post race Massage Therapist at the Chicago Marathon on Sunday! I have done this in the past and always enjoyed it, but this year was my first year back in 6 years! I am. Always humbled at seeing all the different types of people crossing the finish line, from 1st marathon runners, to a military man in full gear, to a double leg amputee, and so many more wonderful individuals in between!
