March has been full of 💚 Brain Injury Awareness Month 💚 posts on my (momma 😬) Facebook feed, and on this last day, I just want to pause and say THANK YOU, LORD, for Your grace and mercy.
Jala Ross Jala’s Journey could have been so different—but God had other plans. He has brought her so much farther than we ever could have imagined, and I never want to take that for granted. My heart is full of gratitude.
💚 Every brain injury is different, but the fight is the same.
💚 It’s not for the weak. It’s not an easy fix.
💚 Healing isn’t always visible on the outside—but the daily effort just to function can be exhausting.
There are good days, okay days, and hard days—but every step forward is a victory.
💚 To those on the outside looking in: please be kind and patient. Just because someone looks “normal” doesn’t mean there isn’t a battle going on inside their mind.
So today, we give thanks—for progress, for strength, and for God’s faithfulness through it all. 💚💚💚
And today for all of you fellow TBI SURVIVORS and TBI CAREGIVERS, this momma sees you, this momma gets it, this momma says keep pushing forward you are so much stronger than you think! 💚
