I am a Registered Nurse with 10 years' experience in working with senior citizens and specializing in dementia care. I have a long-term care background inclusive of administration, health care coordination, quality assurance, and home care. I am certified by the ADRC to perform support groups and am eager to help the members of my community alleviate the stressors of caring for health-compromised family members or friends.

Welcome to all new clients these past 2 weeks! We welcomed 3 new couples and 5 new individuals to the iCare family and it’s been a great experience networking and helping arrange services, getting the care our seniors need, staying out of those hospitals, getting qualifying services and goods covered by insurance, and making long-term plans to meet health needs safely and effectively! Enjoying the growth and I love each and every one of my clients! They have all been such amazing, wonderful people and it’s been a privilege to get to know and work with each of them

School is starting soon! Time to start thinking about getting organized and planning. This may include mom and dad too! If you’re raising both your own children and helping to take care of your parents, or have a spouse in need of support, you may feel the weight of the world on your shoulders.

An amazing week! Lots of inquiries and lots of traffic! iCare focuses on educating families and individuals about their rights, their entitlements, and maximizing their benefits under Medicare! Ask away! My goal is to clarify the convoluted and unclear! Care should not be this difficult!

A great big shout out to all those family members working those extra 2.5 full-time jobs 😮 taking care of a senior at home! Statistically, a fully dependent senior requires 100+ hours of care per week. That’s 2.5 full time jobs! Many performing this task are also raising their own families while maintaining outside employment. Caregiver role strain can lead to family crises, personal health issues, and can have negative effects on relationships and outcomes for those receiving care. There have been recent changes to Veterans Aide and Attendance benefits. If you or your spouse served during war-time and need assistance with daily self-care, you may be eligible for financial assistance with attaining that help. It’s a process for sure, but iCare is finally capitalizing on that benefit for several clients! Reach out to find out more!

This weekend though busy included three very special visits with three of the first clients iCare acquired! While some clients call for advice and temporary assistance, I have the pleasure of weekly and biweekly visits with some of the long-term seniors I work with. Thanks to you, for the laughs and good times as well as the trials and challenges we have faced as a team with iCare only 6 months into full swing! The clients make this business. Without them there is nothing and with them there’s a better quality of life for all of us! Special thanks to the hands-on care providers and all of the HHA and CNA out there working hard to make everyday stressors seem like little hiccups. ❤️

Proud to say my small endeavor to help a few people has exponentially grown bigger than we planned, and quickly! We may need to go incorporated soon! Blessed to have such a great network of clinicians, agencies, home health aides, and community resources.

This week care services were initiated for two new clients. If I have helped you arrange or coordinate care, either in my recent role as a new business owner or as a health care coordinator for multiple facilities over the past decade, feel free to leave a testimonial! If you are your spouse / family member are a veteran and in need of in-home assistance with personal care, meal preparation, home maintenance, financial management, call to arrange a free consultation to see if you may be eligible for VA Aid and Attendance! For those without Long Term Care Insurance, this helps offset the cost of care (now with asset and income limitations but does not include value of owner occupied home)!!!

Welcome to my page! Aside from business cards and word-of mouth, a website, and some references, it was time to jump into 2020 and use social media to offer my services to the community. I am forever grateful for those who have supported this long-term dream and have allowed me the opportunity to come into their home and help them navigate the complex healthcare system.
