Student Nutrition Services has a sweet treat for all PUSD students! We don’t just say “farm to fork” — we truly live it.
The talented students at Strathmore High School’s farm grew some incredible pumpkins this season, which were purchased by our Student Nutrition team. From there, our very own Farm to Fork Chef, Mario Yanez, and the amazing Central Kitchen crew cleaned, prepared, and transformed those pumpkins into delicious homemade pumpkin bread!
This Friday, November 14, every PUSD school site will be serving this fresh pumpkin bread for students to enjoy. A big thank you to the hardworking students of Strathmore High and our dedicated Central Kitchen staff — your teamwork brings true farm-to-fork freshness to our students every day.
