Have you ever been told that you shouldn’t drink your calories, and thought, “But I can’t live without my espresso martini!”? 🍸

Or how about all of the noise about going to the gym six days a week? Has your internal monologue been, “Ugh, but where’s the time? It isn’t even fun anyway!”? 😫

You want to lose weight but have been told you shouldn’t go out to eat, even though you’re thinking: “, “But it’s fun! And see my friends! And… it’s super delicious.” 🍝

Or maybe you’ve been told that you shouldn’t eat after 8pm and you thought, “Does wine count??? Because I love my evening wine!’ 🍷

We don’t like the sound of any of those “shoulds” either. Those rules that THEY have placed on us have made you think that you can never be healthy just because you don’t like the gym, you love your coffee, and you want your wine too much.

❌So you know what we’re doing? We are saying “F**K THAT!” to all of it.

In the past you have said that you love it all too much that you could never give it up. And now? YOU DON’T HAVE TO!

In my program WholeYOU, from now until March 8th, we are dedicated all of our time to breaking these rules and still becoming out hottest and healthiest selves.

What is the best strategy you can use to make sure you are on the path to reaching your goal? A NEXT NUDGE.

By definition a nudge is a light touch or push.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And that is exactly what we are finding - is what exactly is your next push forward with your goals. And it is really important to think about that small nudge forward.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you have listened to all of the episodes of the podcast so far - you are coming to realize that the thing that is most important to me and to Whole Human is that your health FITS you.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
That means that what you do fits into your life - whether you are super busy with work, you have a poppin’ social life, or you are raising a family of wild little kids - your health has to be tailored to what you do.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And what we so often do when we want to work on our health is jump full force into some diet that doesn’t actually fit into how we WANT to and LIKE to live.

❌ People who love carbs think they need to do keto
❌ People who love kraft mac n cheese think they need to do Whole 30
❌ People who love wine think they need dry January
❌ People don’t go to the gym at all think they need to do 75 hard
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
What ends up happening is that people are MISERABLE.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And they are miserable for 2 reasons -
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
That they don’t even like what they have chosen to participate in. this is a hugely important and imperative piece that we discussed in episode 1.
The second, and the thing that we are talking about today - is that it is a massive OVERHAUL of their life.

Jacinda has made strides in WholeYOU PLUS - from planning how to go out dancing all night to strategizing around moving - she has been able to do it all and still make progress toward her goals. 💃🏼

Why I joined WH: I was burnt out. I had gained a bunch of weight after successfully completing 75 Hard with some coworkers. And even though I'm proud of myself for doing that challenge, it was unsustainable! I had a vague idea of how to feed myself but then I would overeat or eat emotionally. My energy was low, my mental health was down, and I felt uncomfortable in my skin. I saw my friend Jess's progress from Whole Human and after hearing her high praise (and stalking Coach K's Instagram lol) I was nervous but excited to jump in! 0 regrets. Coach K is an amazing combination of kind but will hold you accountable, and ready to celebrate every win with you (which I LOVE haha).

Favorite part of WH is: Gah, how to choose? It's been EXPANSIVE. I love that I've been able to enjoy MORE instead of crunching myself down to do less (ex. cut out certain foods, hyper-fixate on losing weight or on reaching a certain pant size, etc): I've enjoyed dating, meals with friends, vacation, and fun while still feeling good about my skin and progressing in my goals! Coach K really helped me through the bumpiest times that would have stopped me if I had done this on my own - and now the skills I've gained are making me stronger, healthier, and happier.
