this feels really good to do by the way…

start in a wide knee child’s pose
let your hips sink back and your breath slow down

then tent your hands, pressing into your fingertips
feel a little lift through the palms

press the ground away from you
let your shoulders move up and away from your ears

add a gentle sway side to side
like you’re creating space across the back of your body

slow it down, stay with your breath, and let it open you up

The lunge opens the front of your hip, giving space where sitting tends to shorten things.

Shifting back, you’ll feel the back of your leg lengthen and your hips start to feel more balanced.

On your back, this gets into your outer hips and glutes, easing that deeper tension that builds over the day.
