This really was a once in a generation exhibit of modern kintsugi. It was jaw dropping.

I had the privilege of viewing The recent kintsugi exhibit at the Portland Japanese gardens. I've never seen so much. Kintsugi in one place! It was really incredible to see how contemporary artists continue to evolve this centuries-old practice.

Just packed and shipped all the bowl kits for next week's workshop! The process starts at my local Goodwill where I find the perfect bowl. Then I clean it and prep it with spray gesso which is my favorite part. After that I load up craft boxes with an assortment of art materials that spark creativity.

All you need to bring is yourself, some paint and of course a hammer!

I brought pre stamped watercolor postcards for people to decorate and write a little note to themselves during the Broken Bowl workshop. I mailed them out from Sedona so that once they got home a nice surprise would be waiting for them!

Last month I had the pleasure of presenting at the Sedona conference for the third year in a row. It's always a magical time going out to the desert. A special thanks to everyone who attended!!
