YouthLine is joining Sources of Strength in celebrating March Mentor Madness! Let’s tip off March by celebrating the Mentors who show up, build connection, and help others grow their Strength. At YouthLine, we believe in the importance of having a trusted adult on your team. Join us in the conversation by taking time to think about an adult who has made a difference in your life.

A reminder as the week winds down that you are doing the best you can, and that is more than enough. Sometimes it feels like the pain we're carrying is permanent, or something we can't survive coping with. Never forget how many times you've felt this way before, just to make it out the other side and keep fighting.

At YouthLine, we love to say that no problem is too big or too small. A lot of us may feel like because there are people who may be going through things that feel bigger than what we are going through, we aren’t deserving of support. Let this serve as a reminder that when you reach out to us, anything you may be experiencing is big enough to deserve space to be heard. :)

Healthy relationships make healthy communities. When we learn what safety, respect, communication, and trust look like at home and in our relationships, those values ripple outward toward shaping safer schools, workplaces, and neighborhoods.

Here are some amazing organizations and advocates we want to shout out this month for the amazing work they are doing for survivors of violence:

Why volunteer with YouthLine?
Maybe you have personal experience with mental health challenges, relationships, feeling isolated, or going through something difficult. Or maybe you simply want to support others. By volunteering with us, you can offer help and hope to peers facing hard moments.

As a volunteer, you’ll support other youth through calls, texts, and chats, reminding them they’re not alone. With comprehensive training and ongoing guidance, you’ll be supported every step of the way as you help peers feel heard and move toward safety and wellness.

February is Black History Month! At YouthLine, we believe that this month is about honoring history, advocating for black mental health, uplifting black voices, and showing up with care, accountability, and action. It's about more than just knowing the history of the black community in our country. It's about taking action, engaging in the life long process of learning and unlearning, and using your voice to make a difference in our world.

Here are some amazing organizations and advocates we want to shout out this month for the amazing work they are doing for the black community:
