This morning, Signature HealthCARE of Portland had the privilege of attending the Portland Chamber of Commerce Veterans Day Breakfast alongside our three incredible resident veterans. ❤️

We are so proud to stand beside these brave men who served our country with courage and dedication. Thank you to the Chamber for hosting such a meaningful event — and to all veterans near and far, we honor you today and every day for your service and sacrifice.

🎉 Friday Therapy Fun! 🎉

What a great way to end the week! Our Friday Therapy group was full of laughter, movement, and smiles all around. We kicked things off with some energizing upper and lower limb exercises to get everyone moving, then turned up the fun with a balloon noodle batting game — teamwork, coordination, and giggles everywhere!

It’s amazing how a little bit of exercise and play can lift the mood and bring everyone together. 💪🎈😁

Today we say a heartfelt thank you and goodbye to Ben, our incredible interim administrator.

Ben, your support, guidance, leadership, and unwavering dedication to both our residents and staff have made a lasting impact. You've led with integrity, compassion, and a steady hand, and we are so grateful for your time with us.

To show our appreciation, we surprised Ben with a special thank-you breakfast a little earlier in the month 🥐☕—a small gesture to celebrate a truly big contribution.

Celebrating Debbie Street – 35 Years of Dedication and Heart

After 35 wonderful years with Signature HealthCARE, Debbie Street, CEO of Signature HealthCARE of Elizabethton Rehab & Wellness Center is retiring.

Debbie began her journey with Signature in the Business Office and Human Resources, and over the years, her leadership and compassion have left an enduring impact on residents, staff, and the community she calls home.

“What I love most about Signature is our focus on residents’ happiness and staff engagement,” Debbie shares. “I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunities for growth and learning that Signature HealthCARE has provided me. I’ve had the chance to collaborate with remarkable colleagues and be part of many exciting projects that have truly changed the landscape of long-term care.”

Having grown up in the Elizabethton community, Debbie has known many residents and their families personally. She treasures the moments spent listening to their life stories — moments that reflect the deep sense of family and connection that define Signature’s mission.

As she steps into retirement, Debbie looks forward to spending more quality time with her family, especially serving as her granddaughter’s chauffeur to school and sports. She also plans to indulge in her love for DIY projects, church work, and traveling — taking time to simply slow down and enjoy life’s blessings.

“I sincerely appreciate the relationships I’ve built and the experiences that have enriched my life,” Debbie says. “Thank you for the opportunities and trust you’ve placed in me during my 35 years. I wish Signature HealthCARE continued success. God bless.”
