Portland Dog Runner provides experienced dog runners, walkers, and in-home (or sometimes at our home) pet sitters. We are runners and dog lovers here to help make your life easier and your dog's life more active . Our main focus is personalized, one-on-one running with your dog(s), however we do provide other services for the happiness of you and your pet. When your dog has the exercise they need, their behavior and health can improve, as well as your overall happiness living with your best friend! We have been in business since 2008 and have been able to help with a lot of special requests, so let us know how we can help and we will see what we can do!

Dogs need to run. We run dogs.

We are runners and dog lovers here to help make your life easier and your dog’s life happier and healthier. We love our running dogs, but we are happy to take out our walking dogs as well. We run, walk, and for the puppies, we get out for some play time!

Exercise for your dog will help with the release of endorphins, serotonin, and other natural chemicals, enabling your dog to better deal with stressful situations. This reaction to the joy of running causes dogs to take on an overall relaxed, happier and healthier attitude. When your dog has the exercise that they need, their home behavior, health and the overall happiness of your household can also improve!

You will notice the difference immediately. Your dog’s stresses (such as separation anxiety when you go to work, not having any sheep to herd, being forced to live with cats, not getting to eat steak bites every day, etc.) will diminish as you realize more enjoyment and peace of mind in your life!
