Loss of capacity isn’t a choice.
We use what we have & then we’re done. All of us. We need to recover energy before we can expend more.
A key part of PDA support is front loading rest before “spoon use” & planning for recovery after.
EVERYTHING uses spoons. Ice cream & cough medicine. The good & the hard need this support.

Edit: Webinar postponed to June 26th.

Excited for this webinar! Let's face it, people have assumptions about what PDA is (or isn't!). Using examples of things that are readily understood & accepted, we can use analogies to help increase compassion & support for PDA.

💡 Webinar Alert! Understanding PDA Through Familiar Lenses 💡 Practical Language and Analogies for Families & Professionals

We'll be joined by Cheryl Quimba, founder of What Helps, LLC, on 2/20/25 at 7 pm CST for this virtual event.
