Deciding to leave my abu$iv3 ex was the biggest pivot in my spiritual journey towards energy work. I'd received so many confirmations from the divine that I needed to take that leap of faith, and once I did, all the pieces started falling together. Even though me back then was a very different person, there were pieces of who I am now, surfacing. Me now was her higher self then, whispering that her dream life existed beyond her fear. I'm so happy I listened.

There’s so much more to explore on this topic, but this feels like an important place to start. With any kind of transition (spiritual, energetic, or physical) there’s grief, as well as a need for honor and respect.

Modern funerary practices have made the logistics easier, which I think can be really helpful. At the same time, it can sometimes create distance from the deeper process of grieving and finding closure. Not that those things can’t still happen within those systems (they absolutely can) but I wanted to share this as another option for anyone who might not realize there are other ways to move through loss and create a more personal sense of closure. Also I'm in full pursuit of normalizing deaths and transitions of all kinds. They're such a natural thing we experience, even in our day to day on energetic levels. So the ultimate transition should be no different.
